Everything you need to know about using Traders.bio to track, sync, and prove your trading performance.

Introduction

Traders.bio is a real-time analytics layer for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. We bypass the need for slow, manual statement uploads by connecting directly to your broker's terminal via a lightweight syncing system.

Our platform is built for traders who want to prove their performance with verified, real-time statistics—not screenshots that can be faked.

Quick Start

Get up and running in under 5 minutes:

Create your account

Connect your MT4/MT5 account

Enter your broker, server, login ID, and investor password (read-only).

Watch your stats sync

Your dashboard updates in real-time with balance, equity, and trade history.

Share your profile

Enable public profile and share traders.bio/yourusername

Connecting Accounts

Connecting your trading account is secure and read-only. We only require your investor password to pull history and live trades. We cannot execute trades on your behalf.

Tip: Your investor password is the read-only password provided by your broker. It's different from your master password and cannot be used to place trades.

Step-by-step:

Navigate to the Dashboard
Click New Account or the "+" button
Select your Broker and Server from the dropdown
Enter your Login ID and Investor Password
Click Connect and wait for initial sync

Premium users can connect up to 3 trading accounts simultaneously.

Dashboard Overview

Once connected, your dashboard updates in real-time. You can view your equity curve, profit factor, win rate, and detailed trade logs.

Visual equity curve showing your account growth over time.

📋 Trade History

Complete log of all trades with entry, exit, profit, and duration.

Public Profiles

Share your verified trading performance with a single link. Your public profile displays real-time stats pulled directly from your broker—impossible to fake.

Your profile URL: traders.bio/yourusername

Profile Settings:

Display Name: Your public name shown on your profile
Bio: A short description about yourself
Avatar: Profile picture upload
Public/Private: Toggle profile visibility
Show Account: Choose which trading accounts to display

Security

Your security is our top priority. Here's how we protect your data:

Read-Only Access

We use investor passwords only. We cannot place trades, modify positions, or access your master password.

Encrypted Storage

Your credentials are encrypted before storage using industry-standard encryption.

Isolated Sessions

Each MT5 session runs in a separate environment with automatic crash recovery.

Access Controls

Strict security measures ensure you can only access your own data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data private by default?

Yes. By default, your profile is private. You can choose to make it public to share your verified stats.

Which platforms are supported?

We currently support MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). cTrader support is on our roadmap.

Can you place trades on my account?

No. We only use investor (read-only) passwords. It's technically impossible for us to execute trades.

How often does data sync?

Data syncs in real-time. New trades and balance updates appear within seconds.

What happens if my broker connection drops?

Our system has automatic crash recovery. If a connection drops, it will automatically reconnect and resume syncing.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription". It takes effect at the end of your billing period.

Can I connect multiple accounts?

Premium users can connect up to 3 trading accounts. Free users cannot connect accounts but can still create a profile.
